The role of entrepreneurship and business in levelling up across the UK is fundamental, particularly now as communities, and the country as a whole, try to recover from the pandemic.
Brought to you from the creators of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and Community, this timely conference will explore ways in which entrepreneurship and innovation can address regional inequalities, attract inward investment, and drive economic growth, productivity and employment.
It will also look at how regional and local authorities can support the starting up and scaling-up of new ventures, promote enterprise and put people at the centre of their levelling up plans.
Bringing together key stakeholders from across the UK, the conference will explore how public, private and community organisations can work together to level up the UK and address inequalities between, and within, communities.
The conference will offer practical guidance, support and tools - and to provide an essential forum for the development of partnerships, innovative thinking and good practice.
Taking place at the ICC on 25 & 26th May 2022,
the inaugural Level Up conference will bring together local authority 400 local authorities and decision makers from UK regions to discuss the government’s ambition to level up, reducing regional inequality so that no matter where in the UK someone lives, they can reach their full potential, find rewarding work and take pride in their local area.
